Sewing/Yarn Bee

Spend a meaningful and creative day helping meet winter needs in our community and preparing items for Shoeboxes!
Location: Hillside FMC – Downstairs
Time: 9am – 3pm
Lunch: Bring your own
Refreshments: Beverages & muffins provided

Whether you sew, knit, crochet—or just love to lend a hand—there’s a place for you!

Sewing Bee – All skill levels welcome!
We’ll be making:
•     Pillowcase dresses
•     Prayer quilts
•     Shorts
•     Scrunchies
•     Fleece headbands

Yarn Bee – Bring your knitting, crocheting, or looming skills!
We’ll be crafting:
•     Toques
•     Scarves
•     Mitts
•     Slippers

Not a sewer or yarner? You can still help with:
•     Cutting fabric
•     Braiding skipping ropes
•     Assembling marble & tic-tac-toe bags

Please sign up at the “Craft for a Cause” station. If plans change or you want to join last minute, just let us know!
